seeds for two finches
café feast on eave in breeze
kitten, tongue on move

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

I like this one. I've quit putting out birdseed, it made me feel like a murderer.

Well, my cats watch from inside the window, lips quivering, tongue and teeth chattering. The birds are safe. ;o} This was a poem with that in mind, yet knowing there are Sylvesters out there.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
