Like a raindrop you entered my life
Liquid, alive and agleam
You gently soaked through my skin
Then the raindrop turned into a stream

Sometimes your ripples are calm
And sometime you flow as in storm
I don’t mind the change in your mood
Because always your waters are warm

Your comforting rhythms engulf
I’m lost in your currents I know
Your tide rose up over my head
And drowned me a long time ago

Welcome to Passions.  That's an interesting penname, some day I would like to hear of its origins...

Please!  Check your E-mail for a Special Greeting!

this is lovely...a cadence kissed treat to read aloud. Wonderful poetic analogy and phrasing. Welcome to Poetry Land.
You make a grand entrance with this...hope to read more of you.

There comes a point when youre not sure why youre still talking,
I passed that point long ago.
