Her nation cried when thunder
rained havoc from above
now she stands in remembrance
of such bravery and love

Many years of hatred drew
a line along the sand
but now she lifts Old Glory
and prepares to take a stand

One nation, under each man’s God
united at last in freedom’s fight
she stands amid mountain glory
to claim her citizen's right

SO youre a poetess and an artist
VERY cool design...how did you make this?
and youve penned the pefect poem to accompany your illustration.
waaaay cool

When your own emptiness is all thats getting through,
There comes a point when youre not sure why youre still talking,
I passed that point long ago.

They are tubes from Paint Shop Pro! I used a total of 9 tubes for this graphic.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Sharon, this is soooooo wonderfully patriotic, sweet friend, I too cry every time I think of 9/11, yet I know also that much hope exists and that I am sure our liberty and freedom will live on! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Sharon, if Bridget and I decide to use this one, would you mind very much if I make color copies of this to have at our table, as an example of PiP's poets in motion?

Please be my guest...it's made with Paint Shop Pro 'Tubes'..not hand drawn. So it's a computerized graphic.

Thank you!
