I saw through misted mirrors
(my own of tawny green)
The perilous destruction-
of mother nature’s queen…

My tears grasped the terror
( while seeking sanctity)
As innocence drown shallow-
In a grave puddle disease…

So feeble in my helplessness
(the proud attempt to stall)
Yet one by one, I hear the cry-
And watch another sister fall…

The merciful in clouded gates-
~fail to shine tonight~
Not a one was spared this day-
They gave up ghost without a fight…

To walk this fallen land today-
(I shiver with the night)
remembering my lost sisters,
Transparent ghosts-
Render no light…

~*~*~*~*~*

…For fallen trees and victory
unbecoming in this place
May I settle upon barren land
Robbed of natural grace…

*one big sigh for humanity*

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

(big huggsssssss) Oh Tanya, this is so very sad, sweet friend, it saddens me so deeply to see so many young people robbed of their innocence nowadays and how humanity together seems to be making no progress in insuring the future children of this tranquility! (sigh) My thoughts go out to you, sweet friend, this is heartaching, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tanya, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

When I was a kid, I remember standing on top of the huge stumps near a clear-cut.  My grandfather pointed to the rings and counted from the outside in to about 45.  He said that ring was the year he was born.  He kept counting until he reached about 90, still only half-way into the core.  He said that was when his grandfather was born...  At the heart of every person is a child who stands in awe of nature.  The people who do these things don't have contact with that child anymore.  Well expressed, mistress D.

I live in a city where the only trees are government planted and government cut when they get too old. There's no soul or nature at all here, and it just drains me... We, as a race, have really got to reconsider what we're doing to our world.

Looks as if some is rummaging for me.

This reminds me of a "Friend O' Mine" that I'll post soon.

It saddens me to watch filth float down the river in front of my shack.
