Hand In Glove
By: Noah Eaton
6/25/02

So you've finally helped me figure out who I am
Everything I couldn't be, you convinced me I can
You showed me Tigris and I lead you to find Euphrates
Your infinite beauty is like a bowl of chrysantheum minestrone

Here from the mountains I present to you the constellations
Reading your freckles and finding connections
And I took your request for peace seriously
You encase my heart in chain mail in case I become finicky

This is the moment, this is the time
I've made up my mind between bliss and sacrifice
Alarm me in case I failed to notice
What this is you want and if it's part of my business

You have welcomed me
Hand in glove
And I have found you
Falling in love
Tell me, where do you want to go
We have nothing to lose
Tell me now
Are we due
Sometime soon
To Brigadoon
For our honeymoon...

Now I have found the heather on the hill
You have discovered a place without gravity where I restore my will
I was sent on a secret mission from God to seek your heart of gold
Through your eyes I see a light as vivid as the sunrise over Camino Capistrano

This is the moment, this is the time
I've made up my mind between bliss and sacrifice
Alarm me in case I failed to notice
What this is you want and if it's part of my business

You have welcomed me
Hand in glove
And I have found you
Falling in love
Tell me, where do you want to go
We have nothing to lose
Tell me now
Are we due
Sometime soon
To Brigadoon
For our honeymoon...

It has been so long for me to find what I'm looking for outside the box
I have searched so long to find that of you who bears the key to a true loves door that now unlocks...

This is the moment, this is the time
I've made up my mind between bliss and sacrifice
Alarm me in case I failed to notice
What this is you want and if it's part of my business

You have welcomed me
Hand in glove
And I have found you
Falling in love
Tell me, where do you want to go
We have nothing to lose
Tell me now
Are we due
Sometime soon
To Brigadoon
To croon sweet tunes
For our honeymoon...

"I was sent on a secret mission from God to seek your heart of gold"  I love that part.  This is really good Noah!

Noah,
happiness shines out of you...but you don't want to go to Brigadoon...all that singing and dancing Yuk!!!
Lovely soft poem and a journey of discovery.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
