How fares the day in feathered quilt
To hide beneath lest you should wilt
In coloured dreams left from the night
And morning rays in gladdened sight
How fares the day now new begun
Rise up anew and greet the sun

How fares the day when morning sun
Signals that the day moves on
When shadows call and tasks do too
And there are many things to do
How fares the day when noon is near
To bring about the songs of cheer

How fares the day when afternoon
Disappears too much, too soon
When still the tasks remain undone
And race you with the waning sun
How fares the day in shadows stall
When midday meets the evening's call

How fares the day when even song
Calls you in, says day is done
When shadows fall on idle hands
And life is freed from its demands
How fares the day when time for rest
Becomes at last by shadows blest

How fares the day when midnight nears
And dark of night will still your tears
Where comfort is a bear grown cold
In darkness deep alone and old
How fares the day when depth of night
Is met by wings of angel flight

How fares the day when quilted dawn
Sheds the dark and dons new morn.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Keth darling sister of my soul and hearts eternal light, your writing is without doubt so incredibly amazing, to write the day from dawn to another dawn is so innovative, and original. Your writing is spellbindingly perfect it simply falls on my soul like a whisper of wonder, breathed in awe by an angel. You always manage to cloak my soul in an aura of delight. Your words fall like moonlit shadows that grace the ground with silvered light. This is purely an Ohhhhh of softness stroking my skin with a hint of promises.

I love it utterly utterly, YOU never cease to amaze me and always I value your writing. You can tell can’t you, drat I wonder what gives me away It must be my delicate hint of I love this utterly utterly that does it, hmmmmm?

Goodness, this is very wonderfully well
written and a very vivid portrayal of a very
beautiful imagination that you possess. I
really love your rhyming scheme, this is one
of the best poems I have read in a while.

Staring into the sun just makes you blind to what beauty actually exists in the sky.

Kethry, a beautiful write...this is very soothing, a song in quiet liquid motion, a baby's cradle in arms...thank you...

Keth,
If I don't start my day that early...isn't it still a good day? Excellent write girl.

Show you care to those you love...today.

This flows so beautifully with such lovely imagery... I can imagine the effort that went into it reading so effortlessly. *S* It's superb, Kethry... one of your best!
