How to go about productive tasks
what's the nature of this bean..you ask?

Added to food products,
consumers stay lean
what is this fruit
grown as berries
pulped and floated
some eat until bloated
then immersed, skimmed and dried
inferior ones cannot hide
water content has to be low
to avoid an adverse blow

Some companies allow it to ferment
taste typical of micro-environment
sent to be processed..an advent
costs soar, consumer repents.

Questions constantly raised
on preferred climate and rainfall are asked
the answer is how to go about productive tasks.

The bean story that I was most familiar with was the old "Beans, beans, the musical fruit..."  and then there is "Jack in the Beanstalk.  So you can see, I'm not to well-read on the subject of beans.  Thanks for furthering my education.

My best guess would be pinto beans.  Second guess would be lima beans.

Clue me in.  Now I'm curious.

soy beans? jelly beans? coffee beans? those are the beans I can guess. I absolutely love your poems in riddle form. Guessing makes me feel happy. I dont know why, though. keep the ink flowing.

its amazing what one single word can do.

The identity of the bean?   Hmmm....
My brain is humming with the test.
I can read it so many times.
Sleep hopefully will clear the mind.
Read it again and come it will.
The humming sound I'd like to kill
You've taken away my rest.

I apologize for the obtuse reply, but all my thoughts and turning into poems lately.....

Hi Darkling,

well if I chew on jelly beans that might give an energy boost, but jelly beans are not
grown, neither are they pulped...
one way of solving teasers is rationalizing..take the guesses that are made and ask yourelf which one goes through those processes I mentioned...

(smiles) Oh Martin, I too feel this would make a great poem for education, sweet friend, this could even be used as some kind of thesis statement for an essay on agricultural production! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
