Of Awe and Store

I walk about in mental awe
Each thought a maul of dark and doubt
They form a wall of shadowed pour
Where dragons wait for me in scout.

It comes to me on waves of wile
Twisting roaring knaves in turn
Shores hot sand a desert Isle
With steps of cool as yet to learn.

But time is quickly running out
And there’s no way to clear the mist
So I will leave this world in doubt.
For I don’t think it will desist.

I’ve made for me a calloused sole
That dissipates the heat of play
It is a temporary goal
To stay the problems of my day

A thick and calloused underfoot
To dampen down the sheer input.

Youre not leaving anywhere in doubt...
youre the one who helps us figure the whys out!!
Your poetry leaves us in awe of your store ...
leaves us hanging on your every word wishing for more.

I see Randys roaring and taking your pen again. All the Rain must be making him feel caged in. He needs something made of raspberry to set him free.

I stand in awe of mist and wind
while round me swift tornados spin
such as the words of Sy's to wind
the perimeter of my small mind

You confound my mind---sigh, sy, you take a sonnet form and add a twist--sorry, former bartender here--grin--and then? The wisdom shines through, and it's like, after the drink? who the hell cares? gimme another!

thank gawd, for my morning "sy!"

Seymour, I like what you've written esp this

I walk about in mental awe
Each thought a maul of dark and doubt
They form a wall of shadowed pour
Where dragons wait for me in scout.

brings a vivid picture (my imagination :P) of monsters lurking in the dark, and a knight that comes along to slay the dragons...

Seymour darling boy what utter utter truth and wisdom falls from within your soul. As always your pen draws wonder and awe from my soul and I’m left gasping in sheer admiration of you amazing words

While drowning in the sea of where
I reached for hand of friend’s who care
And in reaching out I found a hand
Which helped me to understand

There is in touch a soothing balm
That fills a soul with easing calm
The truth is there if we would seek
Inside us all just take a peek

The wise of guise you gift to me
Revealed a path’s discovery
You shine a light upon the way
That guides me to a hope of stay

Doubts can’t darken your clear sight
You are the one who shines hopes light

I love it utterly utterly utterly, was there ever such a wise one as you? Well thank you for the light again.

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Marsha,
Dear girl the light that you see is your own.

Seymour this is wonderful writing, I love the wisdom you impart with such finesse. Don’t go telling mum things like that she’s so gullible she’ll believe you And I’ll never be able to shift her off the computer, and everyone knows I’m the better writer around here. I meant between Mum Emma and I

Your writing is amazing it flows with such deep thoughts and wise words to live by. YOU as mum is so fond of saying are a very very good writer.

Now just don’t tell her I said she was right otherwise she’ll crow about that too.

Love and warm stuff
As always
