This is wonderful news, and I thank you all for your prayers and thoughts....
Right now, I am aching from the spinal injection and I seem to have an allergy to something in that hospital because this is the 2nd time in a row that I've come home from there with stuffed sinuses and laryngitis.David thinks that there is some pollen coming in throught the air conditioning intake because we've talked to others who've had the same problem there.
I will be back to thank you properly for all of your replies to my other poems and to reply to yours, as soon as I feel better.....I just wanted to let you know the good news tonight. I still have to await the pathology report next week before I am in the clear...but this is makes it a lot less likely that there will be anything in that one.

~She Couldn't Find It!!!!!~

She couldn't find it anywhere
inside or out, it wasn't there
she searched so hard, looked up and down
as I lay there in that gorgeous gown

with plastic bracelet on my wrist
and cocktail with narcotic twist
drifting me through tranquil haze
temper lulled by soothing daze

but when her voice proclaimed aloud
"its gone", I wakened from my cloud
"I told you so", I said with glee
but the best surprise was yet to be

as doctors, nurses all around
cheered,I heard a clapping sound
and from the speakers, music blared
with classic rock's resounding flair

singing doctors...dancing nurses
can't be well described in verses
O.R's are always somber places
not this one.....with party faces

familiar with my scary plight
they knew how long, how hard my fight
hugs and squeezes, clasping hands
congratulated...the Chipmunk...Madame
~

There she lay in gaping gown,
Much too buzzed to even frown.
Dressed to flash OR her rear,
Wonderful news they all did hear.

Besides that smile upon her face,
She bent over and cracked up the place.
Howling was heard in hall far and wide,
Our Chipmunk survived but lost her pride!

Lyra you inspyra!!

Lyra I am sooooo happy for you.  Again Passions has proven it's power of prayers.  Not only did you prevail hon, you wrote it so well.  Sounds like you had a great group of people standing by you.
Healthy hugs.

but even if she finds some cells in the pathology, I am not going to panic about them.
I think my immune system will take care of it.

Thanks so much, Nancy...
Now we just have to wait for the pathology report.....and although, it shouldn't make me nervous in the absence of a tumor....
it does anyway.
We should have that report in about a week.

disease is a madness
that pops up like a storm
with undeniable force
but, inevitably,
there is the peace between gales.

God Bless, Munk-ster!  I got busy today, but did not forget
to wish you the fate of prayers
and the love of friends.

Thanks so much, Titia...
Its not quite over yet...I still have to wait until next week for the results of the pathology report...
but the fact that there's no tumor there, makes it a lot less likely that they'll find something....and if they do, I am really tempted to let my immune system handle it, because I am so tired of being dragged down by those treatments.

Thanks so much for the knuffels...
I hope to get some real ones from you in September if all goes right.
