Unsteady up top when I'm flying so high seeking a thrill with my head in the clouds. A gust in the wind is all that it takes to loosen my grip sent over the edge. Hung in the balance pushing my limits hanging on for dear life letting go all at once. Harness me in and tighten the straps so I won't fall too hard when I finally land. Springing loose from the ties with both feet on the ground let me down easy so I don't bottom out... |

Springing loose from the ties with both feet on the ground let me down easy so I don't bottom out... I'd rather be dropped like a rock than 'let down easy'. But I certainly appreciate the sentiment, one does 'seem' kinder. Forgetting all I'm lacking |

when I first read the title, i thought of an andrew lloyd webber song, with lyrics "let me down easy, no big song and dance" if only we could always be let down easy. its amazing what one single word can do. |
