Shadows Of Me for Magnus watch out darling boy I’m coming I did warn you, didn’t I? If you hear a soft noise when the night-time falls Or hear a twig break under certain footfalls Don’t go searching through the dead of night Stay safe inside or else you’ll get a fright If you go looking you’ll know who you’ll see If you’re out seeking you’re gonna find me I’m there waiting until you’re fast asleep Then softly and carefully through the house I’ll creep If you hear a soft sigh that’s carried on the breeze Or think you see a shape standing by the trees Don’t rush outside and try to track me down Stay away from trouble or you’ll wear a frown The only thing you’ll hold is a whispered call I’ll melt into the shadows until nightfall Try to touch me and I’ve vanished like a ghost Then later my friend you'll be playing host If you hear a whisper that sounds like your name Or imagine for a moment that this is all a game Don’t try to seek me I’m moving all around That’s not me you hear its some other’s sound Shadows make more noise I’m as silent as can be Don’t think you’ll catch me using trickery Do you see the shadows? Do you feel their dread? Now my fine friend what was that you said? Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire |

'Deer.... Fear? Common Sense? or is it just plain stupidity?? OH WELL.....I guess I just as well should go ahead and stop writing poetry....That is about the only way she is going to catch up..... |
