Narrow, two-lane highways... Ten year old motels. Eat what's set before you, No matter how it smells. Sleeping while you travel... That's the way it goes. When you're young and hungry, And follow rodeos. Me and Bill McGinty... Barely past eighteen... Set out in my pickup truck... We both were young and green. We dreamed about Las Vegas... Back then 'twas OKC. As truck wheels rolled, we thought of gold How famous we would be. But twenty years of hungry- And riding local shows... I never made the big ones... While chasin' rodeos- Billy drew a spinning bull In Fall of ninety-three... He got hung up, and torn up bad- 'Fore we could get him free. He held on for three long weeks, I cried the day he died... That leaves only me today... Still driven by my pride. I guess some where Death waits for me- But that's the way it goes. An early grave, a life of pain... From chasing rodeos. |

soooo passionate. I'm truly sorry for your loss. chasing dreams is never easy. i guess that's why they're called dreams. unfortunately they are sometimes farther to reach than others. Gunslinger, I hope you reach your dreams and ride them hard. your 100grit love is smoothing my soul |

 (big hugggsssssss) Oh John, this is so very sad, sweet friend, I am so sorry about your loss and I know how hard it must be to approach goals in circumstances like these but I know as long as you believe in your heart it will come true!
