She is today.
A place to lose the chill of autumn.
A road that swallows itself in the heat.

Windows face the snowy pines.
Press my fingers to the glass.
The sea is blackest before light.

Sun touches the edge of hill.
A small red line of a new day.
I hope for this one she will stay.

These smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun.

I'd almost forgotten, too. I was surprised to see I'd already replied. Whee. Me just woke up.

A lovely description of sunrise, Mr.Squirrel, and I like your new pic also.
BTW, there was a little squirrel on our birdfeeder today.  He just sat there and ate like he was a bird.  Then when he tried to fly off the feeder, he fell down and landed on the ground.......
what a sight!
