The Shores of Alone

I swear I will be done with sad poems soon.

Too late, too late to truly say goodbye
now never shall I know your reasons why
you disappeared as in a puff of smoke
and took with you the promises once spoke.

I cannot call enough to bring you back
my cries whisper of all that I now lack
If possible I'd weave a magic spell
but all my efforts spin me into hell.

Too late to find my slice of happines
your love the one I will forever miss.
An empty shell where loving used to be
Goodbye I say, though no one hears but me.

Sandra, this truly does ache..
And I too hope that you will have someone in your life soon, so that you may write of happier days.
You deserve to be happy.

I, for one, do not wish you to be done with such poems ....
I find them, and you, to be deeply truthful.

But, somewhere in time*
your style shall smile
and heart take part
in a new way of rhyme

It maybe awhile
for sorrows of tomorrows
to end my friend
but not without your smile

I know that it can take a long time to say goodbye...to let go of all the frustration, the disappointments and the pain...
too accept that it didn't work out as hoped...
But this is the only way to become truly free and prepare ourselves to embrace a new relationship...James

Shoot, nothig sux worse than a goodbye
that is only heard by yourself....
(I read this earlier,  in my absent mindedness,  I forgot to write a reply...

Sandra,  I look forward to the day when all
you write will be bubbly and full of love.
Keep the faith and continue to have hope.
For,  I KNOW YOU CAN find love....

Break out a club and smack the next one
you are interested in....Do it from behind,
then nurse him back to wellness...and presto,
he is yours for the duration....(That is how it works,  right?)

I know that spinning feeling Sandra~
It's hard to keep from spiraling sometimes.
Don't ever stop writing what you feel,
I envy you for that and speaking from your heart~
