Waste Not

I’ve done the fascination waltz.
Moon light on a summer’s night
And danced in garments that were false
And banished them from out my sight.

But have not closed my heart to love.
Or refused those dreams of you nor
Stopped my wishing on stars above?
Or closed my eyes to magic’s view

Still see the skies in wistful fades
The wonder of the morning’s bright
Waters rippling in silver shades
Or close my mind when comes the night.

I will never give up my goal
Nor live inside a hollow well
Deny the searching of my soul
Or give myself to silent hell.

And though I’ve mote around my dream
There still is access to the stream.

I've done the fascination waltz.
Moon light on a summer's night
And danced in garments that were false
And banished them from out my sight.

But have not closed my heart to love.
Or refused those dreams of you nor

Waters rippling in silver shades
Or close my mind when comes the night.

Sy-babers, this is eye candy and a soul serenade...what a lovely wisdom write.
Classic Sy poetry...words of humility and humanity wrapped in your tender rhymes and dressed up with your imagery of nature's many gifts.

Still see the skies in wistful fades
The wonder of the morning's bright
Waters rippling in silver shades
Or close my mind when comes the night.

how lovely is that verse!!
Your painting sighs across me skies
Beautiful poem Stinkylove.

and how cool are these lines....

I've done the fascination waltz.
And danced in garments that were false

WAAY COOL!!
I've no need for a boat ...
to float upon your mote.
I'll just sail streams of serene
upon thy rhyme scheme dreams.

Seymour darling boy this is utterly utterly outstandingly written. Never ever do you write anything less that perfection, and again this is another example of your soul’s special sigh. Your writing wafts over my spirit like a zephyr of delight, your writing drifts through the places, which breathe in wondrous joy at the sight of your work

Yet again you fill me with awe whatever you write, it has a charm and a magic that contains so much truth. As always darling boy you excel as only you can. I love it utterly utterly utterly

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

From my understanding of motes, they all have a draw bridge...and you are in control of when to put it down and bring it up....and yes..there is the river and I think it's name is Hope or love.
