Our Constitution Of Writes

From the heart, ventriloquists speak
through our quills of treasured thought in
the soul's quiet palace.
Writing! we confirm necessities,
forgiveness, repairing despair,
lessons from straw to sticks to bricks.

In reality we're forced to accept
the mediating truth of,
seeing is believing, yet,
deep inside, body and muse,
we expose offered up sacrifices, and vinous
with fermented ink, we share resurrection.

Like scribes, we pen journals as
ventriloquists of legends,
our quantum roles, reminders that,
with each stroke, a language of light
becomes our seduction in new order.
In the end, it becomes our constitution of writes!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

VERY VERY COOL write E-babes...
You speak the truth as only a poet could.
Love the vocabulary and phrasing in this and the clever analogies of life and writing.

BRAVO!!! Oh Eric, this is wonderful, sweet friend, yes, we all possess our own drafts of a constitution that constitutes our hearts intentions, emotions, and reasons, and what contradicts the words we quill is put to court where we either amend or condemn what is unfair or deragatory! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eric, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

ETHome~
You know what ?
I LOVE the thought of the 'ventriloquist' voice of a poet~
I know from experience that those muses of mine continually 'throw' thoughts in my inkwell~
Very special is this piece~

Enjoyed this very much, ethome!!!

My two favorite passages and I think most interesting ideas/statements, too:

we expose offered up sacrifices, and vinous
with fermented ink, we share resurrection.

with each stroke, a language of light
becomes our seduction in new order.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Some very thought provoking lines in there my friend and of course, when it comes to you, I now EXPECT that.  Hope that doesn't put you on the spot, but it is one of the reasons that I enjoy reading your works.  Your verbage in this piece is wonderful and the phrasing gives power to your lines and thoughts.  Wonderfully constructed and very well phrased.  BTW ... nice to see you have managed to pass some of your talent on to a new generation to keep the seeds of thought rolling on.

Just had to come back with this inspire by your pen.

A bill of writes that bears the cost
To reach the halt the sad the lost
That lifts up spirits in aspire
And warms the darkened heart with fire

It is a blessing and a charm
Can sanctify and whisper warm
Yet the poet pays in price
To write a world not always nice

To paint the world as we see fit
That in sorrow needs this writ
Poets write to seize the day
Tell the stories we must say

Bleed the ink unto the page
Find a way to quell the rage
For poets write there is a cost
Thus bill of writes is poet glossed

In calmer moments try for peace
But always searching words release
The bill is high yet poets rite
Keep them penning through the night.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown
