Listening to every heart

When Different is Right

A thought held back, a breath in wait
A stone unturned, an unsealed fate

Now pause, the very thought of this
Is passion gone, if less the kiss?

It hurts the soul, a loveless time
All for want of spoken rhyme

The heart, it beats, it thumps along
But in no way carries his song

He’s hitched up, certain, ever for life
To a singing, dancing, loving wife

He moves along, a spokeless wheel
He hides too deep the feel of real

She exudes a charm, a brilliant gleam
He pinches his arm, she is that dream

Like oil and water, or fire and ice
One might think they should have thought twice

But his one charm? He lets her Be
She chose just right, her smile to see.

Karilea, then I would say even with all those differences....
The pure joy of him letting her "Be" who she wants to, it is worth it...
Well done, much enjoyed, and thoroughly understood.

BRAVO!!! Oh Karilea, I find in most cases for difference to be such a saddening thing in our world, to see things we grew up a s a child forsaken and left behind and shoving new things in the face as we speak, but yet, simple pleasures like a kiss are changes that are so delightful! (smiles) This is excellent, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

A song she carries in heart pure
in joy of that which is for sure

A smile so bright and nice to see
A smile of heart, of destiny

To write the soul and so much more
with the blessing of then explore

To write the rhyme a lifelong dream
upon the flow of crystal stream

Now you got me going....

The peaceful charm of this poem lies in an artist’s heart.

Excellent writing ... and when you ponder a while ... not really so unusual
At least compairing to many of the couples I know

If that's all she needs, then she is in hog heaven

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
