You Canadians, please listen to me
Canada, that's where my daughter will be
To play the softball league in Saskatoon
She will leave with National team real soon

First they're going to Toronto to play
It's about a week that they will stay
To practise and get the hang of the air
She'll be there, but I don't know where

Then off to Saskatoon they will go
It'll be in the last week of July or so
The selections for the Olympics games
Now you watch out for those Dutchie dames

I don't know if they will show it on tv
But if they do, please make a poem for me
I'll be watching results on the internet
I'm a bit proud with a daughter like that

Watch Lynn Geertman, she plays second base
At least until now that was always the case
She just recovered from a bad dammaged knee
Took 1,5 year to make her come back you see

Even if they loose she's a Champion you know
Fought so hard, now to Canada she will go
Canadians, watch out for that daughter of mine
She will be standing somewhere in that line

Hi Chipmunk, she is amazing, she was very badly injured in Prague, but she came back, she's a strong lady.

Nancy, she's been in Canada several times, but always in Vancouver. She has been in Japan, America and Australia too.

Noah, thank sweet friend, she's a winner.

Woo hoo for Lynn, what can I say - Canada knows talent!   I wish her the best and hope she enjoys her stay here.
