Across the canvas brushed
polished to a finish
within a timeless frame
textured oils painted slick.

The subject of my heart
the exhibition of my work
my sea of inspiration
in the stillness comes alive.

A gallery of color
a stroke of love and luck
my featured artist of all time
awash in painted blush.

Beheld within the beauty
a perfect blend refined
soft and silky to the touch
the art of love defined.

Gracefully transcends
bestowed before my eyes
a masterpiece displayed
in the window of my mind.

Beautiful artistry in this piece Lori, so well done.  It flowed with perfection.

I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth)

Larry~ and you're so sweet, thanks so much.

Coco~  I'm go glad you enjoyed and that you took the time to let me know.
Thank you~

Charisma~  I appreciate your comments, I was afraid I was getting a little carried away with the rhyme...aw well it's a work in progress!  Thanks.

Rex~  I try to smooth over the rough edges, believe me there are many.
Thanks for your nice reply.

Mr. Tabin~  Thank you for your thoughts,  and btw, you can call me bluesy!

Sandra~  Thank you Sandra for enjoying my creative efforts.

Marge~ You are much too kind, thank you thank you.

Lyra~ I had a mental image of sitting on a cliff and trying to capture all that lies beyond.    There is so much more than the eye can see though.  Thank you for reading.  Hugs to you too~

Donna~  That was awful nice of you to say.  Thanks a lot!

Martie~ I try.      Thanks for looking and liking my little picture.

A lovely painting of 'love.'
