Awright, so I've never done this before... Be gentle!

This poem was written for mein Mikhail; you guys know him as the morbid rodent, bsquirrel.

To know your touch,

breathtaking-warm,

will bring new worlds to me.

Your soft, gentle eyes

have haunted and colored

my waking time

and that of dreams.

Your voice,

as it sings so

tremulously

seems to always echo

in my ears.

My mind, love,

is captivated

by everything in yours.

I live to feel

a tremulous kiss

to match your song,

to wrap me up in the knowledge,

assurance,

of the love in both our souls.

Every breath I take,

Mikhail,

is bringing me closer to you.

There must then come a time

when we will exist as one.

So. *ducks head, blushes* Be gentle!

Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Oh lovely....just lovely, Anvrill

Beautiful from start to finish and in between.
You sing of love and it just rings from that gorgeous poem.....

Loved it!

I am so happy that my fellow rodent's better half is posting here...

I think Mr.Squirrel and I are the only 2 rodents who post our poetry here at Passions...

So, when's the wedding?

Well MISS, er...Mrs?

Welcome to you, my new friend!

and, as I said to someone else, --You have a raw quality of honesty, that is not without the delicacy of vulnerability. I call it, "writing thought-print". I welcome you with open arms and warm hugs, lady. I look forward to reading many more!

Let's see ... there is first the "WELCOME" ... so nice to have you join us.  Then there is the obvious ... congrats and it is a pleasure to finally know the source of his muse.  Then of course, there is the applause for the poetry itself.  No need to ask for gentleness ... it is wonderful.  Very easy flow and appealing format, not to mention the feelings conveyed in a splendid choice of verbage.  All together, I would say you had a perfect batting score with this post.
