I'm Counting Teardrops Tonight

~*Marge Tindal*~

I'm counting teardrops tonight
You'll be the next one to fall
Drowning in a moment of tender remember
back when you were my all~

Trickling through a smile from the past
Splashing in puddles of recall
I'm counting teardrops tonight
Darling, you'll be the next one to fall~

I'm counting teardrops tonight
Dreading the treading of it all
No matter how many teardrops I've cried
you're always the next one to fall~

Margie girl, your pen is so very gifted......this is so very beautiful.....I have days when I could count those teardrops with you......just beautiful......

I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth)

This is such a melancholy poem, Marge...
Beautiful, but so sad....
Please tell me that it isn't about your real life...

Nah ... oh, sure at sometime in my life .. just not at this 'puddle-pourer' ...
Maybe the SIX straight days of rain had something to do with this one~

The first teardrop's for Balladeer
How could I let him go?
He treated me so wonderfully...
I'm really feeling low.

The second tear's for Balladeer.
He was the man for me
So kind and thoughtful to me, filled
With generosity.

The third tear is for Balladeer.
What pain I now endure.
I suffer from a melancholy
Mood that has no cure.

Hell, all tears are for Balladeer.
My hanky's wringing wet.
I gave the air to Balladeer...
How foolish could I get???

Margie girl darling sister of my heart and collector of my hearts dreams this is quite probably the loveliest poem I've ever read and I mean it.. You are inarguably the best writer of hearts tears than anyone I know. You darling heart write PURE MAGIC and that's no lie. YOU are utterly utterly utterly superb. And I know this you are a great writer.

Knowing your spirit as I do, I KNOW, you can and do shine like the sparkle from a precious jewel. Others write well amazingly well, you shine out as a star. Biased I may be but anyone reading this jewel will agree with me

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
Oh

Auntie Margie girl this is your writing at it’s best, the flow construction and the concept are all excellent. You know I admire your writing enormously. Not only do you have the ability to write like a dream you also have enough command of the English language to use it stunningly. This it absolutely excellent.

lots of love

Don't give them all to Balladeer
He had his share of tears
I want one too to keep to heart
And use it when it's needed hard

You write such beautiful words my dear
Reaching out and touching deep
The hearts of people who pass by
This one I think I'll keep

Marge,
crowning beauty in your trembling tears.
The poem flows so softly down
but Margie girl don't wear a frown
you have the gift and so much more
all of your poems I adore.

Marge:  Very melancholy atmosphere and I can relate to it so well.  I feel the same way when it keeps raining every day!  Those raindrops definitely look like tears sliding down the windowpane!

You slipped in there and I thank you~

Balladeer~

You fell into the puddle
of tears of my recall ...
But, sir, I'm pleased to tell you
for you ... they do not fall~

Oh, I know ...
I should let you think
You fill my eyes
in teary blink~

But, sadly, love ...
it is not true~
Not one tear
is shed over you~

You had your chance and ya' blew it
Now I'm with somebody new
tears may flow in the after-know
but they'll fall from the eyes of YOU~

Marge,

May all your tears be happy tears and poems like this come from rainy days.  This is another example of never knowing what going to pop out when I open one of your poems.

I don't like you having the blues but I DO like the way you write them

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
