Summer

I shall wear a summer shift
forgetting it's so sheer
that a slip would have been required
when I stand in the rise of summer sun

I shall let my tresses loose
where winds can tease my face
with strands of gold

I shall follow the stream
to the cool pond
where the water is clear
and step in

water shall lap at my ankles, then
creep up my calves,
my dress shall rise upon
the water's surface,
I shall nymph my way into the liquid
then rise
clinging to the morning's song

for you
I shall become summer
and wear you well

Lady,
did it suddenly get warm in here? Very summery poem with great images.
