I open you in difficulty
and I know that’s right or where it should begin
but I hold stones in my belly,
offer little substance other than what plays.
And I know a good poet ends in wisdom
but you won’t learn anything from me.
Still today is beautiful, though sore and needing
and I will write about my acceptance and pulls,
all their selfishness and bleeding.
And I'll close you with a sandstorm just the same.

good poets, don't always end in wisdom...(I typed that like I KNOW, huh?) I think there is very little that ends in wisdom...so many of truth's mountains, are just grains of sand, constantly re-aligning.

I love yer thoughts...

Perhaps a good poet doesn't always end with wisdom, but I'm sure they always end in truth, and there's always alot to learn in truth, right?

And I'll close you with a sandstorm just the same.

This is the first of your work I have read, Alicia...and I'm sure glad that I stopped in for a read...
I hadn't realized what I'd been missing!

I will come back and read more of yours from now on...theres just so many great poets here, its hard to keep up.

a good poet, makes other poets think. . . and inspires them to be more than they are. . .

you do this. . . every day, with every word. . . yes, like a sandstorm. . . makes me want to breathe it in. . .

superb. . . peace you. . .
