I know it hurts,
I feel the pain.
I feel your loss,
I feel my gain.
Which hurts more?
Forced to feel the hurt,
Of one I adore,
One with whom I flirt.
I face a monster
I face the strongest loss,
Like a man's dog,
Like a tree's moss.
I face a dark monster,
I face my own evil side,
But in the end,
In whom can I confide?

Welcome to Passions!   I always like to welcome a fellow Canuck!

Good discussion with yourself....I know it's harder to understand oneself than anything else. Don't tend to see ourselves in a bad light do we?
Good write!

I liked this one. The first four lines were especially powerful, and the last two were a good ending.
