The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-06-20 04:51 PM

I walk an edgy fine line now
in danger yet of falling down
A crooked path with no way out
lest someone near should hear my shout.

Relentlessy I carry on
in hopes of love to come upon
A knight in armour-he would do
salvation, and a lover too.

I walk the edge, cliffs all around
perhaps stability is found
My dream shall never fade from sight
for truest love is yet my right.

Sandra....I once told a friend of mine, who
had the same basic problem...to have faith
and patience,  that love would find her and
she would feel the joy....

My friend,  have patience and faith,  love
will find you,  you will feel the joy...
Walk that path with one foot before the next
and with certainty that you will not fall
far...if you do at all...

I like your love poems catalinamoon, mine all seem to be written from the other side (after the love affair).

Hugs,

oh,that? That's a..uh...roll of quarters, yeah, that's it.

I have to agree with the chipmunk on this one, Sandra.  Your prince will come!

Once in awhile the words come out so perfectly that they can't miss and this is one of those times.  Wonderfully expressed and penned equally so.  Yes, it is your right and I still hold to what I said months ago, not only will you find it but you will know why the best in life is worth all the wait you never thought you could make it through.  Much enjoyed.
