arise and awaken you Daughters and Sons of Gaia
rise up to greet Dawn of this Day of Power
run to mountaintop to greet Daystar as He comes
salute Him with open arms and
welcome Him with open hearts
as He brings light and life once again to a dark and lonely world

sing out and tell now the stories of His life
stories born of old and living of newness
stories that have been passed from those that have gone before
to you, Daughters and Sons of Gaia, so that you might walk after them
and that you might walk with them on those paths
that they have opened up for you with their being

bring now your best to meet Him as He rises to greet us today
He rises now to bring to us the gifts of light and life
gifts that are freely given without expectation
gifts that we are to share with those who cannot see
that they might come to know the songs of light and life
the songs that Daystar brings to us today

turn now, oh Daughters and Sons of Gaia
turn now and see the face of Daystar, turn and see His light
let His power fill your heart and your soul with the dawning of His own
may Daystar look upon us and find us ready to greet Him this Dawn
ready to take His songs, His lessons, and His light and life to those who need Him

we are their children, the Children of Gaia and Daystar
this is our land, our home, the gift of their union
a gift given to us so that we might know not only their blessings
but also their secrets
the secrets of the universe

we come now to you on this, your Day of Power
seeking your blessing

we, your Daughters and Sons have long sought after you
after the lessons that you have taught
the secrets that you know
the light that you hold

give to us now, on this Day of Power
the warmth of your life
the caress of your light
and the words of your heart
