           the Sailing On Solar Winds

the solar winds blow her flowing robe of silver
    star candles murmur their assent
coalesced in a union of sanctity
married spirit and spirit of all man

vast is measured by sand dots on an infinite white easel
a blip so tiny that galaxies regard her
with  little more regard than plankton
She possesses the eyes  that the soul sees with

sad-sighed, with knowledge that human limitations
with the long sight of an eagle, and growl of lion
still cannot reach any of the stars he sees at night
so he scratches the black peat of the sky
with his silver ship, for some new Orient Path.

deep into the bosom of heaven
    the arrow penetrates
never encountering even a casual angel
in their moral shielded galley travel

    on a prairie, a boy with telescope-eyes
    points at the sky
seeing a new star in his favorite constellation
    gliding on solar winds
    move farther
        and farther
            away
                 from
                                     home

(smiles) Awwwwwwww, I love this, sweet friend, I envisioned a small sweet boy looking up and stargazing with his father and he was reciting the names of the constellations to him, only noticing a new splendour to behold! (sigh) This is marvelous, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jeff, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Jeff darling boy oh my dearest friend this it is utterly utterly perfect so beautifully well written and perfectly presented poetry. The flow of lines the excellent language usage and the way this is layered with meaning is awesome. The completeness of it is utterly utterly wonderful. I love it, as I said excellent absolutely perfect writing.

Yet again you carry within your words some awesome imaging. Utterly utterly wonderful writing.

Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Jeff

To go where no man has gone before...such dreams come true, again and again...why not again?

Loved this!

What an experience it would be to discover a new star in the vast galaxy eh? But do you think the world would be ready for a Dulcy Star? *LOL* Think not!
