waiting is universal
spanning time in life
from 2am to 2pm

we sit, we stand, we rest

time
moves
slower
when we wait

sometimes, we wait so l o n g
we miss
                      the moment

and find that
we're waiting for
                                the next one

To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world.

Sven...you are the master of the moment, of
the thought which has escaped...of the next
thought which looms over the horizon...

This is right on the mark...

Always the fountain of knowledge you are John...

time
moves
slower
when we wait

always the truth....

loved this pausing rendition of you...

Open arms can be the most fragile in the world...

I know what you mean my friend....I think I've missed a couple of the second ones.... Gosh, I hope there's a bus load of them coming along.
In the meantime I'll wait.....Lord I hate waiting!
I think you mentioned that, sort of, didn't you?

Good stuff Sven!

Sven as always you take the obvious and write a magical thought provoking piece.
Enjoyed the presentation as well...

Very good...but I think that I'm getting better at capturing the moments...it takes a clear mind...and fresh desire...a cleaning out of the closet so to speak...James

Oh how true this is. And you are right, missing and waiting feel much the same. And neither of them do us any good, I guess.
Profound, as always.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sven, this is so saddening indeed to know so many of our youth today who long for a miracle to come but fail to realize the joy around at the present and miss out on so much! (sigh) This is very powerful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sven, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

And the more moments we miss, the slower time seems to move and the longer the wait seems to be. *S* I like this, Sven. *S*

thank you all so much. . .

I've found that you've always got to pay attention. . . for, the moments that matter the most slip by all too often. . .

Okies..I've been bad. I've been reading your work and not replying as much as I should. These should be read, Sven Pen.

I'll take the time to think on these thoughts of yours.
Rings with some truth, rushing from place to place, only to wait some more... for the next time.
