M’lady, I await..
I, your knight, your love
art here ‘neath thy room.
Hear mine heart
my breath

I guard thy sleep, thy love, thy chaste
I am yours to take, to do with
as thou wish desires.

My arms, open to the heavens
to the winds of change
the storm of day
will hold thee

Thy art most fair of maids.
Most beautiful, most desired
I ache to touch thy face
to just once kiss thy lips

I stand my duty at thy feet
My shield is thy comfort
My sword, thy army
My life, a waste
without thee.

“Pon the dawn of distant sun
I shall come to thy door
‘Pon the knock of heaven’s gate
I shall wait of thee, evermore.

I truly love that old style traditional poetry when it's done like this.....Good work Magnus!

Imagine....If your first name was "Over"  then she could ask you.....
"Can I stay with you Over Knight?"

(smiles) Your metaphor of dawn is always so perfect in your writings, sweet friend, may you embrace each new day and find a smile right beside you to stick with you all day long! (big hugggssssss) This is mightily beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Good, thoughtful Sire,
Wait not upon thy fawning dawn
For though morrow brings with it soft light
It harbors desolation

Oh sweet sound of breath in hold
To feel it soft again my ear
The murmur of its love enfold
To only know the feel of tear

I beg, nay, entreat you Sire,
Leave be before the break of day
For I would not allow thy face
To see what this heart cannot say

Magnus hi there Finally I get the chance to get on here and reply, it’s a nightmare, mum should be shot at dawn, but I don’t expect that I could get the court to convict her. I don’t think computercide is actually recognised as the crime it is.

This is a really wonderful  piece of writing, the flow is exquisite and I love it. These Knight tales you write are so well done this is wonderful well done and I love it. As mum would say I love it utterly

Love and warm stuff
As always

Magnus darling How has this poem not been inundated with replies? wake up sleepy-heads this is amazing writing Come one come all to read this outstandingly beautiful poem written as only Magnus knows how, in style and perfect grace. Your words fall softly on my soul like the gentle touch of rain refreshing me after too long in the arid darkness of sorrow. Your writing is so smoothly flowing, trickles over the page like crystal streams of wonder. Your writing is ever beautiful and this is no exception, you are indeed a writer.

Oh yes and I love it utterly utterly utterly

Love and warm stuff
As always

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire
