Listening to every heart

Tree lined dirt beckons
Byways less traveled, calling
Spirits on high wind

Sun peers, gilding clouds
Spirits find brilliant glory
Secular stories

Behind brightened awe
Past all heavens, light awaits
Clouds tear, telling all

Of shadow’s desire
Flames of passion burn higher
Softly walk the talk

Tree lined dirt beckons
Following streams of recall
Blend with winds knowing

I like them all, Kari. Especially this one:

Of shadow’s desire
Flames of passion burn higher
Softly walk the talk

I am pleased to see others write in this form.I think of mine as seeds for bigger poems.Think of each of them as a challenge. They are like eating peanuts. You can't just write one.Write them by the hand full.

Of shadow’s desire
Flames of passion burn higher
Softly walk the talk

I think this may work as a mantra for me this weekend.  Softly walk the talk.  And don't forget to breath.

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely and complete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me

All very very good.

You got me wondering with this one...

                                "Of shadow’s desire
                           Flames of passion burn higher
                                 Softly walk the talk"

Could be a serial killer for all I know....geez Karilea.
