Streaming Wind
By: Noah Eaton
6/18/02

Bronze bells ring above our heads
Glass butterflies softly weld to the meadowbed
Between the graves I am chiseling epitaphs to every one of your cenotaphs
Of every dream you thought you lost but was always there under wraps

Ah we're playing chutes and ladders
Lucky I'm wearing my tam o'shanter
It's no matter
It doesn't matter
No Mad Hatter can tamper with our manners
Slip on your talaria
We'll take flight like a kite
Cause all you have to do is ease your mind to fight the moonlight

We're streaming wind
We're slip-sliding in
With romantic whim
Streaming wind...

Take your needle and knit songs of gold
Play your threads like a cembalo
Trimming unicorn wings of dungaree
Yarn-dyed, soldified, made for you and me...

We're streaming wind
We're slip-sliding in
With romantic whim
Streaming wind...

Take my hand for love of Jove
We'll make this jungle our abode
And fill our world with dragonflies
Purple honeycreepers, mint chocolate ice cream and fireflies

I can be your Davy Crockett
Just pack your bags, slam your worries door and lock it
We'll be the king and queen of the wild frontier
You proclaim that title for me when you are near

We're streaming wind
We're slip-sliding in
With romantic whim
Streaming wind...

Hi Noah~

You know how you get a song in your head...and you can't turn it off?  Thanks for the words I'll be replaying for a while!  This is very whimsical...I LIKE IT!

Noah, this is so descriptive and romantic. And very lyrical.
