M’lady of life, of mornin’ sway.
In light yon moon’s sensual display.
Of passion’s winds of whisper still,
born of this night, of freedom’s will.

Listen dear heart of voice in flow.
Capture this flight of wish in throw.
Hold to thy dream of vision clear.
Sleep of blue eye, thou shalt not fear.

My lady, wilt thee walk beside?
Wilt thee surely come, thee not hide?
Take thy soft hand within mine own.
For thee art not in dreams alone.

Fuel the flames of thy passion’s fire.
Boiling steam of thine own desire
Swill of the taste finest wine’s sip.
Hunger this plate in fill, thy lips.

Sleep through the night and rest thy soul.
Awake to trump and drummer’s roll.
Call out to me whence thee arise.
Feel of my heart, these waiting sighs.

You wouldn't believe the problems I had in getting an opportunity to respond to this...

These speak as clear as a mountain stream...

Hello Barry

You masterfully weave so much beauty and wonder into everything you write and I feel my spirit rise when I read your outstanding words.  This was so very beautiful.  Once again I was reminded of two very famous star crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet.

Take care......Sue

Magnus darling heart this is utterly utterly splendiferous, you never disappoint me darling boy not ever, and this is yet another perfectly crafted and divine poem that has fallen from your pen onto this page of blue and lit the whole night. Goodness your writing is superb, exceptional as always your style really shines through whatever you write.

And my darling boy how many times am I to ask you to just once not shine so brightly, if I could I would be jealous but it’s impossible when you write sheer perfection Besides I love your writing too much, so I’ll forgive you, but remember darling boy beware the dark of the moon because you never know if I’ll be there.

Absolutely perfect I love it utterly utterly utterly, and as always you are tres tres bon M’sieur

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Barry, you were born long after your time...or else you are very, very old! In either case, I enjoy the jousting and the chivalry

BRAVO!!! Yes, I agree with Balladeer, you are indeed an old soul, and I mean that your soul is filled with the chivalry of centuries ago and you bring us all hope and set an example that it can be revived into 21st century culture and beyond! (smiles) This is wonderful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Most excellent ...
Balladeer's comment is ageless ...
your words can find any place in time, if one's heart can open as far as yours.

A true pleasure to read.
