FOR KAREN... Your life is extinguished Your breath is now gone And we are the ones left behind to mourn The loss of a wife, a mother, a nan The loss of a daughter, a sister, a friend The loss of an auntie, a cousin, a sisterinlaw too These are our losses now without you But we will have memories of you smiling and laughing out loud And wonderful memories of you entertaining a crowd Memories of your kindness and caring ways These are our memories that will always stay Roniece Dawson-Bruce |
