These Tears

these tears that
stream my face in agony
I cannot voice
the pain through which I see

I know my childish eyes
are well the cause
in how I take in things
that give me pause

to tell you
what is slicing at my heart
would take honesty with self
I can’t impart

nor could I divulge
the nature of my wrath
and how it coats
the marrow of my path

as stones that find their way
beneath my sole
impeding ev’ry step
toward my goal

I find that it’s
a rancorous seed
that infiltrates the sinew
of my deed

to find a way
to capitulate  my will
shall take knees as solid rock
upon the hill

that stood the weight
in cumbersome misery
while the Son of Man
exhaled His love upon the tree

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so.

Honest and compelling poetry this was.
Raw emotion is the only way to go!
What's the point in cutting corners, I mean really!

Thank you for these words of yours.
