we swam the blue water pools
you made them green with your eyes
the palm hands wrote names there
with shadow fingers in pretend night

dragon fly people made wing laughter
the queen palms opened fans
grotto rock was our secret cave
we drew pictures with wet hair brushes

we were wax side seams with our skin
when sun melded our lengths
we turned red together under water
our voices were in bubble words

the purple flowers made butterflys
and passion fruit breathed swollen
God came with his digital eyes
and said we were good for heaven

he took our skin and made it one shirt warm

The mystic dreamlike physiognomy of the images in this is fantastic.....I thoroughly enjoyed the read!

Not only a paradise of color,
and feeling,
but of sound as well...

more summer reading, please...

Must you always have that sway of exotic to you my dear????

*shrouded in sensuality*
must have been the purple bubbles...

you know I loved this...
