In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-06-15 01:46 PM

Of many colors

I saw rainbows in my
eyes

I felt your    heart
weaving  my   soul
releasing   me into  your
   naked thoughts

letting     go
my words laying  upon
your skin   in  soft
color

Like the first night
we danced
   under the willow tree
breathing the night
  in shadows and moonlight

I swear   I saw stars
  fall from   your eyes
your 'heaven   blue eyes'

Together on the oceans edge
   we spoke   lightly of the
waves lessons,   how earth
moves in mystery

I once tried to write
about you
in unwept words  but
rain, and water,   on sand,
wash    the lines away

   in distant echoing swells
of how we came to be

For J’
With my Love Always’

Its been a long road
Getting from there to here
Ive known a wind so cold, seen the darkest days
but now the winds I feel are only winds of change

I know this feeling, Lauren...
Sometimes, when I look at David...his eyes just seem to weep stars...

This is a lovely poem and it sounds like you are in love.....

Lauren, each one even more beautiful than the last.  Lovely words from a lovely soul.

I could have missed the pain, but I'd have had to miss the dance~~(Garth)
