In Return

And in return
he might respond
why of me
is she so fond?
How is it that
she seems to see
in merely chat
two lovers be?
What could have been
the reason for
this hidden, now open
garden door?
Does one so lonely
ache a song
when there another
comes along?
And then the other
intones in kind
comforting sounds
from heart and mind.
Perhaps it’s only
by lucky chance
that two such souls
begin a dance.
Now he might wonder
what the future holds
for two born out of
other’s molds.
Is there for them
yet life elastic
or have they become
just brittle plastic?
When forces play
beyond their chatter
they might then crash
in noisy clatter.
What awaits these two
now so alone
and will it come
to flesh and bone?
Though cast well down
life’s muddy river
can there be for them
that lover’s quiver?

Lots of inquisitive penetrating thought in this delivery.
Well done, very open and well arranged..........Lover's quiver....I think so!!

(smiles) Yes, yes, that happiness is bound to come for them, for the more you give the more you get and if they both believe in it they are bound to find each other! (sigh) This is wonderful, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Arthur, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
