I am whisper. I am scream.
I wonder what's to come of me...
I hear chapel ringing bells--
I see shadow of myself...
I yearn spark of fire's hell--
I am whisper. I am yell.

I am "princess"--
"I wear crown".
fingering the rings around...
frowning at a spark's absence--
weeping for the snowglobe dream.
(I am whisper...I am scream...)

I realize this light is true--
"I genuflect with morning dew."
I dream that Venus--rising star--
takes me, from "I am" to "ARE"...
I wish to be all that I seem;
I am whisper. I am scream.

You are poet ... ink of bleed
by rhyme and verse, of curse freed
whispered wish ... scream of need
dance of fire ... inspire the seed

You are poet ... ink of bleed
cadenced concede ... poets creed.

You ...
You are still a whisper on my lips ...
