The Light Within You’ve shut your mind to love’s light Open your eyes there’s hope in sight There’s no need to be weary Dry your eyes don’t be all teary Hope waits just reach out your hand Love leads you to the Promised Land Lift your spirits up and don’t give in There is joy inside look within You are down and you feel blue Just why do you feel as you do Somewhere chances will appear There’s no need to give into fear Life is for living you know If only you can let fear go Inside you the light shines bright Just reach within to touch the light You’ve let fear dictate to you But if you try you’ll come on through Hope’s not dead it speaks your name And there inside still burns truth’s flame Don’t give up, give it a try Your mind asks you to do or die You can win if you want to Give up your fear and you’ll get through Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire |
