light love the mind
but darkness loves the soul

light evokes thought
and enlightens its students

but darkness embraces wonder
it surrounds the curious and cradles their mystery

lovers hold hands in the light
but fall in love in the dark

darkness is the origin of conscious
and rational thinking
in black space
you can wonder why or why not?

you can escape the demons of light
trap fright
and cage it

darkness is the domain of love
so I sit in it
and simply am
