Dressed for the salty breeze
In a Navy blue wind breaker
My vessel and thoughts and we
Shall set our hand
And souls together
Upon the rolling sea
Away beyond
The edge of the West
Where all of the distance rhymes
With only the sunlighted day
And the moon-mirrored night
Pondering the tides and times

If that's an invitation, I accept! LOL If it was issued to someone else, that's okay... by the time I finish swinging my baseball bat, they'll be indisposed and unable to go... and I'll be glad to substitute. *G*

This is absolutely beautiful, Toe... the werk monster is gonna have to strain to yank my thoughts back to the office... for your poem set them free to dream. *S*

But... but... MARGE???? Werk would disrupt this great mood I'm in... and waste the work of dear Toe's pen? Can't let that happen... just tisn't right... 'Course I'll change my tune when the boss walks in sight. *G*

Toe darling boy this is exquisite writing, your pen is perfectly poetical and I really do love it. The line and flow of this is excellent.

Suthern can’t I borrow him for a little cruise Hmm?

I’d send him back practically unmolested honestly Sorry Toe but I can’t take on someone with a baseball bat

This really is excellent writing darling boy I love it utterly

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the eathquake wind and fire

Where do you stow the cat on these nautical excursions ... in the crow's nest?

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I have fallen asleep and awoken in the twilight zone, where Toerag writes beautiful poetry and even uses the word shall!

Your talent has never been in question, Toe. It's great to see ya showing what you can do when you take that buffoon hat off...of course, buffoon is a good thing, too! Nice writing, Mr. Rag.

...and, yes, I saw your adult post..cretin!

Suthern girl, I'll recite this to ya as we watch the fireworks from the deck of Pepper's boat

Gee Toe, I was just going to ask if I could come with you,
when I saw the baseball bat in suthern's hand,
and thought better of it!
This is a wonderful write...
Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
You do write some serious & beautiful poetry!
~Hugs YOU!~
*Hope the hugs okay by suthern*

Mr.Toe...I thought you were just a funny, sweet man...I didn't know you were talanted too!

My vessel and thoughts and we
Shall set our hand
And souls together
Upon the rolling sea

I guess I was wrong sailor!
This is a voyage of excellence...
