It was supposed to be a poem
My anger still yet ever present to guide the pen
Fueled by this hurt inside me
Here is how it started

My bag grows full
The weight heavy
Pain unbearable
Once

Once?
Once what
What could I possibly put
I cannot even begin to describe my feelings

The fact that I would love to just beat the tar out of
Out of what
I just do not know
Who am I supposed to be mad at

I would
If I found it
If only I could see
How could I win

Death
Naw, someday by natural causes if I am lucky
I know I will face that
Yet that day is far away, not today

All I ever wanted was to be there for you
Show you how life could be
Pushed me away
Lied to me

I wish that I could find away to smash these walls
Clasping the walls that stand between us
Everyday I wonder if you recognize who I am
Who I was

How hopeless I am
How lost can I be
Will I ever turn around
Will I ever find a way

I don't know what to do with those feelings, either. But you expressed them well. Perhaps that is a step to getting them to leave you in peace.

After that you'd have to feel a little bit better....Just from the venting alone..... Good poem........Love the intensity of the frustrated hurt so well portrayed!
