Listening to every heart

Thus, I bid thee, Adieu

A softer speak t’will not be spake
Thus, a whispered, adieu
A sweet good bye that I must take
Then gone before the dew

Fare me well, I bid you, dear
Speak soft, a sweet good bye
Wear well my love, this kind request
Let no tear fall from your eye

You shall see me in the morn
In the skies of blue, sun-kissed
Then in eve, in twilight’s bless
Nay, I shall not be missed

In the morning glory’s scent
In soft call of pearl-gray dove,
Fare me well, I bid you, dear
And keep with thee, my love.

All of this mushy stuff for just a business
meeting...???  OK Sun,  what is going to
be posted if you really have to go somewhere?

And you almost had me in tears...Sheesh!

Kari, this sounds like a letter from the 18th century, just beautiful.
Have a good meeting.

This should be sung, with a softly plucked guitar.  Very beautiful!

The poetry of words perfectly captured in this piece. This is an example of what poetry should always strive for. Great write!

"Parting is such sweet sorrow". Return soon. This was such a sweet and soft whisper and the photo perfect for the sentiment. Enjoyed

Well now look at you!   Not only was this beautiful but look at the picture to go with it, do you think I loved it, yes!

There is nothing means more to me than

How very beautiful! *S* Picture and poem both are a delight for the senses.... and such gentleness would ease the pain of any parting. *S*

BRAVO!!! Oh Karilea, this is wonderful, sweet friend, this is a bittersweet farewell poem and I hope this no longer applies and you will never have to say Au Revoir! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karilea, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
