Wind Beneath My Wings midifile

A Voice In The Wind

Eagles must spread their wings,
And fly from childhood homes,
The dreams they’ve known,
The feelings that they’ve shown,

I am the wind.
I feel you flying by,
And sometimes in my turbulence,
I bow my head and cry,
At your passing.

What has been will oft return,
The weather patterns rearrange,
The phases of the moon.
I will remain.

Inside my heart.
You are inside my heart.
I cannot understand the way I feel.
Why must one season start,
At another’s ending

To my dreams I will go.
Run to the faces that I know

Be with me this time in flight,
I will not fall; please hear me,
Call your name.
My voice is as the wind.
And I am out of sight.

Simply beautiful. Feels like morning and mourning..if that makes sense. I love the pic and this verse.

Very beautiful, Sherry...

I think that the conversaion is between the wind and a flying creature such as a bird...or between the wind and God...
or the wind and that hot air balloon in your pic.

Either way, I think that the wind is one of the conversationalists.

Thank you, Regina, it makes perfect sense.... it is the plea of spirit.

Nancy... glad you liked it.

Barry, thank you for replying... glad you enjoyed this exchange.

Dear Lyra, you are absolutley correct... it is a conversation with the wind.... or atleast a breath of in-spir-ation.

Thank you all again for your comments. Appreciated....

It's the wind, the eagle and the sky talking to themselves, I think (but then, I'm just not good at abstract stuff like you !!

Nicely written, Sherry.

(smiles) Oh Sherry, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, this seemed to me like a conversation between a young boy or young girl praying to God on his or her knees and finding solace through the wind! (kiss on cheek) This is lovely, sweet friend, you always make me smile with your words, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sherry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
