[IMG][/IMG]

THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN A COUPLE OF YEARS BEFORE MY FATHER DIED AND IT IS A PICTURE I'LL ALWAYS TREASURE

* * * * *

I thought I'd show you a picture
So that all of you could see
How proud I am of my father
For he meant the world to me

This is the man I write of
Who remains within my heart
I've told you so much about him
And of the love he did impart

A man of few words
So very gentle and kind
He kept much to himself
A nicer man you could not find

I may never have been a writer
If it wasn't for my Dad
My words seem to have no ending
This is not some passing fad

Through the words that I write
He will live on in me
I see him in the sun
And the moon and the sea

A beautiful poem, Sue...but your photo disappeared.  I think you can fix it if you go back and edit it.  You also need a place to store your photos so that they won't disappear.  Sharon (Mysteria) knows all about that stuff...
Please email her.
I would love to see a picture of your Dad.

~ many hugs

Lyra

Thanks for telling me but I don't know how to fix it.  It's strange because when I went in just then to read your comment the picture is there so I am not sure what happened.

Take care....Sue

For some reason, I can't see the picture, Sue...maybe its my server.
Could you email it to me and then I will be able to see what the subject of your lovely poem looks like.

Sue,  I am not the picture expert....But
there are others who are...  I cannot see
it as well....All I get is a little white
rectangle with a red x in the middle...

A lovely write, and I am sure will be a
very lovely picture of a proud Dad....

Sue, I tried to "fix" it but for some reason it keeps backtracking and I could not help you edit this...

but I think I'll follow the link, just to see your Dad...

the poem is wonderful!

Sue if the picture is on your computer, we wont be able to see it, it is also missing the " " at both the beginning and the end of
of the code, I think thats correct, feel free anyone to correct me if  am wrong.....

I dont know much about UBB codes,
I think they run the same as IMG SRC codes???
< img src=" http://www.whateverhere.jpeg ">

you would need to remove the space after SRC and after jpeg to make it work.....make sense???

~~~
I love the poem, it is very touching, and does indeed paint a beautiful picture.....
Be well....Peace thank you for sharing this treasure...
