As reality quietly finds rest
mindless depths of confusion awakens
the thoughts, once held, face an ultimate test
elusive views of inner soul's makings

Life's awareness consciously bleeds away
eyes shudder and one's breath fades to nothings
Silence ... deafening silence fills the day
and night takes a hold of thoughtless somethings

Wishes to whims, questions left unanswered
cracks to be filled and emotions afire
these, triggers of the thoughtless and absurd
create new life of the weak and unwilled

Yet we search all that matters just to find
the dream chamber, the temple of the mind

create an addiction .... share a smile!!

Oh Craig, this is so very true, sweet friend, I too felt silence and was depressed as a boy then when I began to hold a firm stand in my dreams, I have since felt this stillness that is foreign to me but motivates me!
