Guide Me to an Ocean

Guide me to an Ocean,
All I need is my lotion.
Tan my whitened skin,
Empty a bottle of Gin.
Surf some heavy tides,
Watch the guys stride.
Fall asleep dreaming,
Boyfriend is scheming.
Buried in sand to neck,
Seagull starting to peck.
Impossible to escape,
Here comes video tape.
Baked in sun to long,
What else can go wrong?

Sounds like a vacation gone bad!

But even a bad day at the beach has got to be better than a good day in the city.
Good write!

Good laugh here, my friend...about the way my day would probably go...and besides that, I wouldn't catch any fish...

Great answer to the challenge......Buried in sand eh?  Still wrote a poem like this?

Must have dictated it!

Vacation gone sour....dear dear I'm sorry!
Have a another drink.........
That gin in a chilled glass that the vermouth has been washed through then dumped. Add one olive and sip lightly until the interior of the soul gets warm and rosy.
That will knock the downside out of that bad day you're having!

This is such a cute write, Amused Cupid. I'm hoping to go to the beach next week while on vacation. Hopefully my day goes better than yours.
