Dark age

Plague stalks the land
Robed monks keep the flame alive
People in the dark

Peasants

Belonging to the land
Working from dawn's light till dark
Scratching out a life

Priest

God's hands on earth
Praying for the souls of man
Soldiers of the cross

Knight

Brave men riding forth
Bringing justice to the world
His honoe is his strenght

King

Sitting on his throne
Holding the fate of many
His word is law

Queen

Beloved by her king
Iron fist in a velvet glove
Rules with a gentle hand

Castle

Stone walls and towers
Strong islands of protection
Strung across the land

Ah, what imagery! I love it; this sent me to a place that I know I would have loved! ~Rayne
