I have a headache the size of fist.
Squeezing cortex out of context.
Massaging colors that don't exist.
Dirty fire throws my eyes.

I have a headache the size of nail.
It punctures oblongata through.
All loss of reflex, just pushing on
waiting for the end of song.

I have a headache the size of her heart.
The threat of more pain seems to adorn us.
Reaching out to phantom trickles.
I detect her in the pulsing corners.

She said burn ... together.

Its been a long road
Getting from there to here
Ive known a wind so cold, seen the darkest days

there's almost as much said between the lines of this one as is written in the poem itself. Great finale!!!
