standing on a shadow's lace

I Have Heard

I have touched
a shadow
even tightly
held to
a ghost
today I am
missing
many things
I need
the most
bleeding colors
of the rainbow
with just
a single word
a whisper
upon the wind
but I
have heard

"The heart is the toughest part of the body, tenderness is in the hands." Carolyn Forche'

Lovely....maybe I need a hearing aid, 'cause I'm having trouble hearing what I want to hear!
